Currently, our warehousing capacity exceeds 200,000 sq ft, available in either climate-controlled or non-climate-controlled warehouses. Either way, our warehouses will keep your goods safe from the immediate effects of the weather.

Wide, brightly lit aisles make storing and retrieving goods simple in our facilities. Pallet racks line each aisle allowing for organization and quick retrieval of stored items.

Lay down yard

Blimp Base Storage is an industry leader in stabilized, outdoor lay down yard storage with over 300 acres available.

Simply put, we can accomodate almost anything that can be trucked in. From turbine towers to electrical transformers, generators to refinery equipment, we can or have accomated it in our lay down yard area.

On-site equipment

Unloading and loading your stored goods is no problem. Blimp Base Storage has forklift capacity for up to 30,000 pounds and on site crane capacity to handle cargo up to 100,000 pounds.

For cargo exceeding those weights, we can easily make arrangements to have equipment available and ready for you.

Foreign Trade Zone

The Blimp Base is an approved Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). This can result in substantial savings for importers on import duties.

We are conveniently located near the Ports of Galveston, Houston and Freeport with easy access to I-45, I-10, and the Houston Hobby Airport.
